How We Analyze Brands
We analyze brands listed on our website in a variety of ways for the convenience of the Sustainable Life App™ community. We hire experts in each field/listing category to rate a brand's business practices based on our 5 Factors for Sustainable Consumption.
All listed brands also self-evaluate their own performances so that consumers using the website can make their own judgment!
Our philosophy is that we want to encourage all companies to not just practice transparency but also do their best to create ethically made products. We offer brands the space to discuss any difficulties they may face doing-so.
Our website is a space for Sustainable Brands or Sustainable Collections (existing company who is simply testing out the market by creating a sustainable collection or line) to connect with a #ValuesBasedShopper. We encourage quality over quantity products whilst still respecting the bottom line - profitability.
- Not all applying brands are accepted on our website. We are however, very fair when considering all applying companies.
- If a company is selected, as our second step, Sustainable Life App™ hires experts in each respective field and category listed on our website, to give an their fair expert analysis on the brand's business practices with respects the 5 Factors for Sustainable Consumption™.
- Last but not least, our third layer of analysis is our CEO/Founder interviews! M personally interviews every listing brand’s CEO and/or founder in a fun and informative way to help the Sustainable Life App™ community can better understand the brand. Learning a brand’s who, what, when, where, why and how is key to understanding a brand and its products. Companies get the chance through the interviews to share their stories and our hope is through this, gain loyal and lifelong customers!
